A Manifesto of Contemporary Hospitality: The Mohammed VI Foundation in Agadir

To meet the ambition of the Mohammed VI Foundation in Agadir is to orchestrate a harmonious encounter between modern structural innovation and cultural resonance. More than a hotel, this project stands as a manifesto of contemporary Moroccan hospitality—translating the strength of the institution into sleek, timeless lines while embracing the softness and refinement of local traditions.

Territorial Grounding: Architecture Rising from the Earth

Located on a strategic plot just steps from the shore, the project asserts itself as an urban landmark that belongs to its environment rather than simply sitting upon it.

• Topography & Terracing: By embracing the natural slope of the site, the architecture unfolds in successive terraces. This volumetric play opens panoramic views of the Atlantic for nearly all spaces, turning the horizon into a permanent living backdrop.
• The Backbone: The layout is organized around a grand internal promenade. Serving as a bridge between the city and the sea, this fluid axis naturally guides visitors from the urban bustle toward the serenity of the coast.

A Sensory Experience: Between Horizon and Sanctuary

The design plays on a duality of atmospheres to enrich the guest experience:

• Maritime Openness: With nearly 100% of the rooms facing the ocean, the hotel celebrates its seaside vocation and contemplative character.
• The Green Refuge: In contrast, the heart of the project beats to the rhythm of a lush interior courtyard. Inspired by Arab-Andalusian traditions, this shaded patio offers an intimate, cool alternative to the vast maritime landscape.

Iconic Design and Mastered Materiality

The identity of this 4-star establishment is defined by a subtle dialogue with Moroccan light. Deep-set facades sculpt shadows, while the "porosity" of the spaces—including accessible rooftops and patios—creates a seamless transition between the interiors and the coastal breeze.

The Art of Hosting: Public Spaces & Gastronomy

The project offers multiple high-end touchpoints for guests and visitors:

• Dual Reception: A monumental entrance on the "Upper Street" provides a breathtaking view upon arrival, while a second reception on the "Lower Street" facilitates beach services and concierge requests.
• Dining: The main restaurant opens directly onto the pool deck. To elevate the experience, the R+2 Rooftop features "cosy" landscaped alcoves, perfect for total relaxation facing the sunset.
• Wellness Sanctuary: An independent SPA, designed with its own private garden, integrates hammams and treatment rooms into an atmosphere of absolute peace.

Performance and Functional Excellence

Behind the immersive experience lies a rigorous technical organization designed for seamless and sustainable operation.

• Exceptional Accommodations: The hotel features 205 keys (192 standard rooms and 13 suites). The suites are strategically positioned at the building's corners, offering dual orientation and exceptional panoramic views.
• Business Center: Fully autonomous and accessible from the lower street, this facility allows for the privatization of an entire wing for exclusive corporate events without disturbing the tranquility of other guests.
• Optimized Logistics: Service flows are strictly hierarchical at the basement level. From the central kitchen to the laundry, every route is optimized to ensure rapid service and discreet technical operations.
• Infrastructure: A 20-meter infinity pool creates a visual continuity with the ocean, while underground parking minimizes the visual impact of vehicles on the surface.
